  • Overview

    As a key member of the marketing team, you will lead the corporate marketing function and be responsible for planning and executing high impact, highly creative corporate marketing programs that support our go-to-market strategy for our data platform products (InterSystems IRIS, Cache, and Ensemble).


    The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with outstanding execution, and be hands-on building and executing marketing campaigns. This position requires daily communication with sales, customers, prospects, partners, and the global field marketing organization. Strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and strategic creativity are required attributes.


    • Creation, execution, and maintenance of the data platform products corporate marketing plan in close collaboration with product marketing and the global field marketing execution teams
    • Devise demand generation strategy and support field level demand generation initiatives targeting partners and B2B prospects; and working with existing and prospective partners to target B2B prospects
    • Proactive creation, execution, and management of multi-touch campaigns, strategies, nurture flows, and engagement programs, and initiatives to promote the brand’s positioning in the marketplace
    • Build and manage awareness programs leveraging multiple channels
    • Identification and management of events including conferences, trade shows, seminars, and corporate events
    • Close collaboration with product marketing regarding strategy, targets, content, messaging, and positioning
    • Management and maintenance of corporate marketing content, library and assets
    • Creation and reporting of KPIs, reports, dashboards and metrics to measure and monitor impact of initiatives
    • Management of budget, including tracking spending-to-plan
    • Management of vendors and agencies


    • At least 5-7 years in a marketing programs role in an enterprise B2B software company, preferably in the big data, data management, or analytics markets
    • Experience marketing to partner channels, and co-marketing with partners targeting B2B prospects and customers
    • Experience working collaboratively with global field marketing teams
    • Small company mindset with big company experience
    • Proven ability to work independently and in team environments
    • Balance of strategic vision and tactical execution
    • High degree of creativity, flexibility, energy and enthusiasm
    • Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines
    • Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
    • Experience interacting with customers, prospects, agencies, analysts and staff in high profile, business critical situations
    • Proven ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through with timely execution in a fluid, cross functional team environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Education and Training

    • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or other related area required; MBA desirable
