The Sales Representative / Executive will have a good understanding of Healthcare software and a strong Health IT network.  This role  will cover the Swiss market and requires excellent German and French language skills.  Principally focused on both deepening and widening existing accounts (Direct and Indirect) in addition securing new name business across vertical markets. Moreover we now believe that the possibilities for HealthShare (our health informatics platform) remain untapped in Switzerland so in addition to our Advanced Data Platforms capabilities, this role will also involve developing and then implementing a market entry strategy for HealthShare in Switzerland.   This role is based in Zurich but reports through our German organisation.

  • HealthShare® - Connected Health Solutions
  • Caché® – High performance database  
  • Ensemble® – Rapid integration & development platform            
  • DeepSee® – Technology for embedded analytics
  • i-Know® -Unlocks the valuable information in unstructured data

  

Historically the model in Switzerland has been centered around an indirect partner based approach and in terms of markets we are best known within the Healthcare sector. As we and the markets we serve evolve, we need to change and this role will be a pathfinder position;

  • Where we worked through partners in the past, we now need to focus on Enterprise class End User accounts irrespective of which vertical market they may sit. Still working with partners, but generating an End User demand.
  • We need to creatively harness our unique positioning and capability. For example – InterSystems’ i-Know’s embeddable capabilities allows developers to create applications which unlock the information in unstructured data giving users access to all enterprise date. Who else does this?

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute market plans and campaigns to generate new name End User business for both Advanced Data Platforms capabilities and HealthShare technologies
  • Manage the Partner Eco System to engage them at End User projects
  • Plan sales strategy for target accounts; prepare sales forecasts and related reports
  • Act as the principal liaison between InterSystems and customer; develop and enhance business relationship by providing high levels of service and by encouraging contact with accounts at various organizational levels; develop and continuously update account profiles
  • Meet accounts on a regular basis to provide information on features and benefits of InterSystems and its products, and to displace competitors
  • Call on problem accounts to communicate status of problem resolution and to demonstrate InterSystems’ commitment
  • Utilize internal resources to achieve sales objectives
  • Provide feedback from customers regarding product performance; provide input to product development and support services for product fixes and enhancement
  • Represent InterSystems at sales conferences to promote the Company’s products and services
  • Introduce ISC products and services and builds a pipeline of new activity within and outside the customer base
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested

Qualifications

  • 10+ years related experience within the software industry
  • Experience within HealthIT
  • Demonstrated experience selling software solutions into diverse vertical markets.
  • Understanding of Big Data, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0
  • Ability to engage at C suite level  
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable track record of Sales overachievement
  • Strong technical aptitude is essential

Education and Training

  • University Degree or equivalent
