In Belgium the focus is on the following InterSystems capabilities;

 

  • Data Platforms (incorporating Cache® high performace database, Ensemble® rapid integration & development platform, DeepSee® technology for embedded analytics and I-know® which unlocks the valuable information in unstructured data.
  • HealthShare® – Health care informatics platform.

 

We have 2 offices in Belgium (Vilworde and Diepenbeek) from which we serve customers all over Belgium. We have a small but growing presence, .

Our staff sit within the following departments; Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Market Development, Customer Support and Operations.

The Sales Executive will be principally focused on both deepening and widening existing accounts (Direct and Indirect) in addition securing new name business in.

Historically the model in Belgium has been centered on an indirect partner based approach and in terms of markets we are best known within the Healthcare sector. As we and the markets we serve evolve, we need to change and this role will be a pathfinder position;

 

  • Where we worked through partners in the past, we now need to focus on Enterprise class End User accounts irrespective of which vertical market they may sit. Still working with partners, but generating an End User demand
  • We need to creatively harness our unique positioning and capability. For example – InterSystems i-Know’s (which actually originated in Belgium embeddable capabilities allows developers to create applications which unlock the information in unstructured data giving users access to all enterprise date. Who else does this?              

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute market plans and campaigns to generate new name end user business.
  • Manage the Partner Eco System to engage them at End User projects
  • Plans sales strategy for target accounts; prepares sales forecasts and related reports
  • Acts as the principal liaison between InterSystems and customer; develops and enhances business relationship by providing high levels of service and by encouraging contact with accounts at various organizational levels; develops and continuously updates account profiles
  • Meets accounts on a regular basis to provide information on features and benefits of InterSystems and its products, and to displace competitors
  • Calls on problem accounts to communicate status of problem resolution and to demonstrate InterSystems’ commitment
  • Utilizes internal resources to achieve sales objectives
  • Provides feedback from customers regarding product performance; provides input to product development and support services for product fixes and enhancement
  • Represents InterSystems at sales conferences to promote the Company’s products and services
  • Introduce ISC products and services and builds a pipeline of new activity within and outside the customer base
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested

Qualifications

Qualifications

  •  10+ years related experience within the software industry
  • Demonstrated experience selling software solutions into diverse vertical markets.
  • Understanding of Big Data, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0
  • Ability to engage at C suite level
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable track record of Sales overachievement.
  • Strong technical aptitude is essential
  • Proficiency with Dutch, French, and English langugage

Education and Training

  • University Degree preferred
