Responsibilities

  • Liaise with customers in order to understand the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed by the TrakCare application
  • Support the TrakCare application in a manner that will suit the business requirements of the customer and follow the methodologies and processes of InterSystems
  • Provide support to customers for the TrakCare application
  • Conduct individual and group training, product demonstrations and workshops as required
  • Monitoring and responding to client site calls and internal stakeholder groups on the TRC logging system.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TrakCare application areas
  • If required, work with customers to identify potential changes within the parameters of the product
  • Deliver quality code on time and meeting specifications
  • Contribute to a smart, cooperative, problem solving team in a fast paced environment
  • Work with a broad range of proven and cutting edge technologies, in areas including object, web, relational, networking, storage, high availability, performance, and integration
  • Obtain an in-depth knowledge of these technologies
  • Enhance your personal interaction, presentation, and leadership skills working with developers around the world
  • Gain exposure to large national scale Healthcare solutions
  • Be challenged to apply and develop your creative problem solving skills
  • Interact with other areas of the company responsible for QA, Engineering, Education and Sales

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent; (Physics, Mathematics, Sciences
  • General aptitude for solving problems and using technology to improve processes
  • Understanding and experience in support of product solutions
  • A solid grasp of computer systems, software development and deployment methodology and computer networking
  • An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints
  • Proven ability to think laterally and come up with innovative solutions for software product implementations
  • The ability to make independent recommendations for successful software product implementations
  • Proven ability to work through problems with different customer groups achieving positive outcomes
  • Experience or familiarity with programming languages
  • Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
  • Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, C++ development, and software systems a plus

Highly Advantageous Experience:

  • Understanding and experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), and Clinical Information Systems
  • Knowledge of PAS and/or clinical healthcare products or laboratory preferred.
  • Understanding of the importance of Health Informatics standards, reporting requirements and legislative controls
