Project Manager



The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager is in charge of the day-to-day management of project execution which includes: acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.


  • Manage project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability 
  • Manage the Project and the processes therein – including the definition and on-going monitoring of the Project Implementation Document (PID)
    • Define the project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
    • Produce the Project Implementation Plan
    • Produce and Manage the Project Plan
    • Produce and Manage the Quality Plan
    • Produce and Manage the Communications Plan
    • Define the resource plan
  • Represent the needs of the Implementation Team during the pre-sales stage
  • Carry out resource planning and management 
  • Carry out the management and escalation of risks and issues
  • Manage the project budget
  • Ensure that the project team members are aware of and remain compliant with all the relevant procedures and policies
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope throughout the project
  • Ensure appropriate communication between the members of the project team and report on project progress and other project specific information to stakeholders
  • Lead the ‘handover to support’ activities after go-live
  • Lead the ‘lessons learned’ activities for whole project life cycle
  • Produce the Project Closure Report.


  • An extensive track record of managing and implementing large and complex projects in healthcare IT (5+ years).
  • A strong background and understanding of health care activities.
  • A proven ability in grasping the specifics of complex operations under pressure.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, using effective project management tools.
  • An understanding of the technology involved in the delivered solutions, including but not limited to database and enterprise application integration software.
  • Persuasive and effective communication skills.
  • CXO level interaction experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in negotiating IT contracts and change requests with Customers.
  • A thorough understanding of leadership & management behavioural competencies
  • Experience developing and coordinating third-party systems implementation providers, VAR partner representatives and subcontractors.
  • A track record of consistently delivering high quality services within target budget.
  • Strong presence that is charismatic and personable.
  • A self-starter and a results-oriented individual.
  • Hard working, with demonstrated initiative and a "hands on" style.

Education and Training

  • University degree with preference in IT engineering
  • Project management certification such as PMP or PMI
  • Background as Technical Manager is a plus
