• Clinical Change Manager

  • Overview

    The Clinical Change Manager will lead and manage clinical change activities within a Health Information System implementation team including business change management, stakeholder analysis and engagement, and benefits realisation.

     

    Responsibilities

    The duties assigned include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop, refine and implement a change management framework for a large EMR/ HIS implementation project.
    • Work within ISC teams to integrate clinical change management activities into the overall Programme or Project Plan.
    • Create and enhance change management tools and templates.
    • Present change programs to customers and clinicians
    • Lead the customer in applying change management processes and tools within the context of an EMR/ HIS implementation project
    • Support customers in creating project-specific change management plans and activities to encourage adoption of an EMR / HIS
    • Support customers in conducting change impact assessments and business readiness activities as appropriate to the project
    • Support the Training Lead in building and managing a super user network and training
    • Lead and/or support a communications plan that will facilitate clinical adoption of an EMR / HIS

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Strong program-level change strategy background.
    • Demonstrated organisational change management skills
    • Implementation of  successful change initiatives within a large health service.
    • EMR/ HIS implementation experience
    • Experience in developing training and communication materials.
    • Good understanding of clinical and administrative workflows within an acute or sub-acute health setting.
    • Experience with assessing clinical and business process change impacts.
    • Experience with IT benefits realisation.
    • Proven clinical stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
    • Clinical domain knowledge preferred

    Education and Training

    • Relevant University Degree
