Overview

The Sales Representative will play an integral role in maintaining and developing current customers and increasing market share for InterSystems Italy. The Sales Representative will focus on cultivating the relationships with existing customers at CIO/CTO level and, following an agreed plan, on developing new opportunities on the market, both for our TrakCare Hospital Information System, and for our Cache, Ensemble, HealthShare and Deepsee products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a trust relationship with current InterSystems customers and Partners
  • Provide guidance and answer to needs related to InterSystems offer and area of expertise
  • Prepare offers for customers and all related internal decision support documentation, such as business plans and price calculations
  • Support tender processes by coordinating team effort and follow up in first person all sales and administrative documentation

 

Discover, qualify and develop opportunities both for existing and new customers

  • Prepare account and sales plans for own area of responsibility
  • Support French Country Manager in defining and monitoring Sales and Business Plan for France
  • Motivate internal and external staff/resources to focus on desired business outcomes
  • Work with sales support to provide timely proposals to customers
  • Manage, escalate and resolve technical or contractual issues
  • Develop effective prospecting strategies to target new customers to identify need and areas where we can add value
  • Leverage existing customers and use reference sites to support the campaign to bring in new name business
  • Maintain awareness of industry sector and technological advances
  • Partnering with InterSystems internal stakeholders (technical, marketing and business development teams) to develop compelling solutions for current and prospective customers

 

Participate to Marketing, Communication and PR activities

  • Prepare sales presentations

Support marketing and PR actions such as participating to events, prepare press releases, website update, inform and involve customers on such actions

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Enterprise Software Sales experience
  • Exposure and evidence of Sales success in the French healthcare market  
  • Excellent listening, written and communication skills
  • Demonstrable track record managing existing customers and winning new name business
  • Proven ability to present effectively at Board level
  • A genuine interest and technical curiosity for software in the Healthcare sector (ours and others)
  • Fluency in English and French required
