Overview

The Sales Application Specialist will be required to support the sales and marketing process of TrakCare products in France to ensure increased sales revenue by conducting demonstrations of the TrakCare application to prospective customers and using this knowledge to respond to bids during the procurement process.

 

The Sales Application Specialist will be required to work alongside all levels of the procurement team and end-users within the customer’s site.

 

The Sales Application Specialist will be required to communicate with the technical team to ensure they fully comprehend the capabilities of the application and can demonstrate the features and benefits.

 

The Sales Application Specialist will be required to work with the implementation team to ensure that the functionality demonstrated and responded as available in the Output Based Specifications to customers are implemented.

Responsibilities

To Support Sales personnel in all sales activities to increase sales revenue

  • Organising sales visits
  • Undertaking sales visits
  • Participating in contract meetings

 

To Increase product awareness and product capabilities with both prospective and current customers through the development and execution of a marketing plan

  • Attending relevant and appropriate conferences

 

To progress client interest to the next stage of the sales process

  • Attending site visits for potential customers

 

Maintaining market information

  • Keeping up to date with public and independent provider requirements
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of French healthcare IT standards and strategies

 

To carry out sales application demonstrations

  • Demonstrating TrakCare to prospective clients
  • Ensuring all information for producing a quality presentation is acquired.
  • Formulating and executing a comprehensive plan for presentation.
  • Providing detailed and coherent responses to users questions about the solution.

 

Using TrakCare product knowledge and customer knowledge to participate in sales/procurement process:

  • Advising on the products ability to meet contract obligations.
  • Responding to bid documentation as required.
  • Attending bid governance meetings.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience working in the French IT healthcare sector
  • Previous experience in a comparable pre-sales role for a competitor or associate.
  • Experience responding to bids/tenders
  • A strong comprehension of software and applications combined with an interested and analytical approach to IT.
  • Experienced in customer focused sales and support.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver results as required within specific time frames.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct training and develop training materials
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Keen to learn new technologies and new applications.
  • Available for out of office hours work and willing to travel
  • A high level of skill using MS Office  

 

 

Education and Training

  • University degree highly preferred
