    We are currently recruiting for a Systems Management Specialist.

    Responsibilities

    The Systems Management Specialist will generally perform the following functions:

    • Support defined technical system areas, perform custom development tasks and provide technical support for the implementation of TrakCare products.
    • Responsible for the overall delivery of the System Architecture Plan and management of associated resources and activities to ensure that software is delivered and deployed in line with project requirements.
    • Communicate with the technical team to obtain technical support when required and obtain standards for the implementation of  TrakCare Products.
    • Support the process of installing TrakCare patches/releases/builds on the required TrakCare customer platforms in accordance with quality assurance protocols and Service Level Agreements as agreed with the customer for software release authorization and installation.
    • Develop custom/site specific software such as JavaScript, user defined functions, interfaces, reports, extracts, data migration scripts and conversions.
    • Provide technical support for custom development i.e. JavaScript, user defined functions, interfaces, reports, extracts, data migration scripts and conversions.
    • Provide support on the data dictionary.
    • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis for implementations.
    • Monitoring and responding to Technical Team calls on the TRC logging system.
    • Supporting and testing of TrakCare internal and external utilities, e.g. patching tool, print service etc
    • Assistance to Presales for any technical request such as architecture, configuration, hardware sizing etc
    • Production of training materials for technical courses such as system administration, custom development or reporting.
    • Production of technical documentation such as reference materials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge-base articles and how-tos.
    • Other duties may be directed by the Company from time to time.

    Qualifications

    • IT Graduate and Linux qualifications highly desirable
    • Experience in installing, configuration and managing InterSystems’ Caché Databases.
    • Knowledgeable in InterSystems Caché script programming language.
