    The Healthcare Market Intelligence Manager will join the Market Strategy team to deliver cogent, data driven analyses to guide business development, product strategy, and sales positioning for the entire InterSystems healthcare product portfolio. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with, and be assisted by, product teams in Cambridge, MA, North American and regional sales teams across the world, and Marketing.

    Responsibilities

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research into markets, products and services, and use market insights to provide business intelligence to support portfolio management decisions and business development.
    • Lead primary market research initiatives related to healthcare in all InterSystems markets globally.
    • Support go-to-market strategy initiatives including market sizing, competitive landscape, and pricing analyses, using a combination of primary research and third party data sources such as Gartner, IDC, KLAS etc.
    • Continuously monitor and document the competitive landscape to support sales, marketing, and product development activities.
    • Create visualizations and other presentations to effectively communicate research results.
    • Deliver market intelligence related to local opportunities and competitors, as needed by regional teams around the world.
    • Assist sales teams with information to support specific sales opportunities.

    Qualifications

    Background and skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; master’s degree preferred
    • 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare market intelligence, strategy, or analysis, preferably in a health IT setting
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Salesforce, analyst and research databases
    • Understanding of healthcare business issues, and of health information technologies and markets
    • Excellent quantitative, analytical, presentation and writing skills
    • Ability to work well with remote teams
    • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of an international cross-functional team
    • Flexibility to travel approximately 20%
