    InterSystems is a highly-successful software company of high-performance database management, integration, and healthcare information systems.  We’re the company behind healthcare applications that manage patient records for the UK’s National Health Service and over 50 SANA hospitals and clinics in Germany.  Our database technology is used in an application that processes 13% of the world’s equity trades and The European Space Agency (ESA) is using InterSystems technology for its Gaia Mission, capturing data on around 1 billion celestial objects to create a 3D map of the Milky Way.  Our software solutions are everywhere and due to the company’s continued growth in the DACH and Benelux regions, we are looking to add to our 12-person international recruitment team. 


    Reporting to the Manager of International Recruitment (based in Cambridge, MA), this position will join our other U.K. recruiter and will carry ‘full-desk’ responsibilities in support of a variety of technical, sales, and healthcare-IT related positions located in our Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and Netherland offices. 


    As a core principal, InterSystems is focused on quality of hire rather than speed of hire.  As a result, Recruitment responsibilities at InterSystems are much more strategic than transactional.


    • Implementation of sourcing strategies to generate multiple candidate pools in the DACH and Benelux regions
    • Ensure hiring manager and candidate preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally
    • Evaluate candidate skill level; manage offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer generation and offer acceptance/declines
    • Partner with hiring managers and senior management to negotiate offers, understand business requirements, provide market guidance and refine Recruitment priorities.
    • Improve the hiring experience with Recruitment’s stakeholders, as broadly defined to be candidates, new hires, hiring managers and fellow team members.
    • Represent InterSystems as an employer of choice at trade shows, career fairs, and other industry events
    • Create recruiting programs such as establishing channels for recent graduates in new European countries. 


    • 5+ years technical recruiting experience in either an agency or corporate environment.  Experience in both environments preferred. 
    • Experience recruiting software industry professionals in Germany and the U.K. at minimum with a preference for wider European recruitment experience. 
    • Intellectual curiosity is required. Recruitment at InterSystems invests significantly in understanding the business it supports and how new team members would help the business further its goals.
    • Adaptability to support roles across a complex, multicultural business. 
    • Ability to work well autonomously, reporting to a remote manager, while adhering to established processes and procedures

    • Fluency in English and German languages

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
