• Market Development Representative

  • Overview

    As a Market Development Representative (or a Business Development Representative), your primary focus will be on our new InterSystems’ technology product, the IRIS Data Platform is to support the sales team with finding leads based on criteria sales lays out.   Through strategic and careful communication, you will develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospects, including potential customers and partners for InterSystems.  Qualified applicants, please submit an English-language CV.

    Responsibilities

    • Contact and market to assigned target accounts about our InterSystems’ technology (IRIS Data Platform)
    • Partner with sales to develop lead and demand generation campaigns
    • Follow-up on marketing-generated inbound leads and inquiries
    • Manage a pipeline utilizing Salesforce to track activity and updates
    • Provide feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts based on real front-line interactions
    • Conduct industry research to uncover pain points and find potential sales opportunities
    • Handle a variety of communication including, but not limited to, cold-calling, inbound calls, warm follow-ups, and email campaigns
    • Achieve yearly quota for leads generated/handed off to Sales Team (Sales Qualified Opportunities)

    Qualifications

    • Three or more years' experience of business development/inside sales
    • Strong written and verbal communication in Portuguese, Spanish and English
    • Experience qualifying and selling software or other technology products over the phone
    • Experience using Salesforce CRM (preferred) or other CRM tools
    • Collaborative and cooperative attitude with sales and marketing teammates
    • Goal orientation and self-motivation, with a passion for the technology

    Education and Training

    • BA or BSc in business/economics, marketing or technical
