Overview

InterSystems Israel has a new opportunity for a Sales Manager to define and execute a Business Development Program, designed to drive sales of our Data Platform products.  The Sales Manager will be a new business hunter responsible for selling our new product, InterSystems IRIS and IRIS Health, to new Customers and Solution Partners.

 

This person will possess a strong understanding of Data Platform technology and the competitive landscape and have the ability to identify new business partners, where InterSystems products may be applied.  The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track-record of successfully articulating, and subsequently selling, technology led solutions to new customers.

 

InterSystems IRIS is a complete data platform that combines analytical and transaction processing with interoperability for handling all types of data, representing a great proposition for organizations in any data-rich industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Discover, qualify and develop new Data Platform business opportunities through a Business Development Program, building long-term relationships.
  • Establishing new Distribution Channels to drive sales of InterSystems IRIS.
  • Engage with marketing to develop and execute appropriate value propositions and campaigns to drive new Data Platform business.
  • Lead the sales proposition in Israel and represent the company at the highest level with new customers.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to provide timely proposals to new business partners.
  • Manage, escalate and resolve technical or contractual issues.
  • Coordinate internal technical and non-technical resources to educate and to equip Business Partners with all the information they need to be successful.
  • The successful applicant will have entrepreneurial qualities and will develop creative strategies to increase new business through new channels.
  • Partnering with InterSystems internal stakeholders (technical, marketing and business development teams) to develop compelling solutions for prospective customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of proven sales experience, with at least 5 years in opening and developing new accounts and business partners of software solutions for data-rich industry needs.
  • Evidence of sales success, with satisfied customers and achieving target objectives.
  • Excellent listening, written and communication skills
  • Extensive and proven track-record of attracting and developing new business partners, where InterSystems data platform may be applied. 
  • Proven ability to grow revenue streams from partners 
  • Strong understanding of database, integration and analytics technology
  • Able to understand business requirements and to derive equitable solutions.
  • Proven ability to present effectively at Board level
  • Would be an advantage demonstrable experience selling:
    • to the Finance Services or to Retail/Logistics Industry
    • IoT or AI/ML technology solutions.

Education and Training

  • BA, Engineer or equivalent Degree.
  • Hebrew and English fluent, oral and writing.
