  • Overview

    The Sales Director is responsible and held accountable, for all aspects of InterSystems business within the region.  The Sales Director is ultimately accountable for business development. He / she is charged with developing and executing the strategy that should result in ongoing maintenance of a satisfied and stable install customer base as well as signing new customers.


    InterSystems have been present in the Middle East for many years and a loyal customer base has been developed. The remit of the Sales Director will be to take the region to the next level of development and the goal will be to:


    • Diversify into new vertical markets
    • Identify cross selling opportunities within the existing customer base


    • Lead a team of Business Development Managers with responsibilities for new business and account management primarily around InterSystems’ flagship Electronic Health Record System TrakCare and IRIS for HealthHold responsibility for the Middle East Sales target.
    • Increase customer satisfaction levels in the installed base.
    • Lead and drive the execution of account plans
    • Play a hands on role in assisting the Sales Executives with the development of key accounts
    • Forecasting and reporting
    • Coaching and mentoring
    • Direct the building of senior customer relationships


    • 10 years’ experience as a sales representative
    • 5 years’ experience in sales management
    • Experience in enterprise wide software solutions
    • $5m+ deal size within Application / Solution Sales
    • Experience managing complex / lengthy sales cycles
    • Public and Private Sector sales experience in the GCC
    • Track record of over performance against quota
    • Direct End User experience 
    • Demonstrable leadership skills
    • Strong Presentation skills
    • Established network of C-level relationships in the GCC
    • Degree Qualified
