  • Overview

    As A Marketing Programs Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and management of marketing programs from concept to completion. Activity includes creative campaign management, raising InterSystems profile in Italy by PR and thought Leadership articles, local website management, SEO, Google AdWords, social media marketing, direct mail, tradeshows, Customer adoption programs, market research, etc., and management of all tasks related to these activities.



    • To devise and implement local Marketing Plans, which are derived from the Corporate plan
    • To deliver a high-quality marketing service to territories, to support the achievement of target revenue and business performance indicators
    • Achieve budget targets and undertake continual cost/benefit analysis of programs
    • Find and manage top-notch marketing and PR agencies to support strategy and execution

    Brand Development

    • To gather continuously, market information and ensure that the Director of Marketing is fully apprised of opportunities for enhancing the brand


    • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve, within budget, the Corporate and Local marketing plan objectives
    • Work closely with local sales teams to maximize engagement and collaboration

    Program Execution

    • Execute marketing campaigns to support profitable growth of the local business
    • Manage public relations with agency support
    • Manage updates to the website with fresh content and promotion materials on a regular basis. Use Google AdWords and other tools to drive traffic to the local website
    • Manage localization of corporate collateral and production of local collateral; maintain stock
    • Manage and implement corporate and local direct mail campaigns, adapted to local market conditions
    • Execute industry and Intersystem-branded marketing events, including tradeshows, conferences, seminars, webcasts, and User groups
    • Develop and execute social media and content program 
    • Design and develop reports that track marketing campaign effectiveness, web traffic, industry trends, and various types of quantifiable information

    Customer & Prospect Databases

    • Manage the databases for the territory to ensure that they remain complete and accurate at all times 
    • Review and improve the effectiveness of the databases with reference to InterSystems sales and marketing requirements
    • Ensure that sufficient quality assurance controls and processes are implemented to check regularly the integrity of the databases, as well as their synchronization with local databases (as they become available) and with other key InterSystems databases to optimize Marketing Automation
    • Make use of our marketing automation tools to generate leads, create awareness and support revenue goals


    Events / Campaigns

    • Prepare own events, support third party events from concept to follow up activities
    • Adapt/localize, execute and monitor campaigns which help to achieve local and corporate marketing and sales goals
    • Pipeline to Partner; help to win new partner, nurture leads until handover to sales
    • Partner to Revenue; support our partners to increase their business with all necessary communications and marketing tools and assets


    • To establish and maintain productive working relationship with the colleagues in the branch offices and international marketing teams
    • Maintain the required facts and statistics for reporting, planning and feedback 
    • Monitor the work of the local marketing agencies as requested and ensure that goals are being achieved to the agreed quality standards within the agreed budgets
    • To undertake any self-development or training, appropriate to the post


    • 5+ years prior experince in a comparable Marketing function
    • Ideally some Marketing experience in Healthcare, preferably Health informatics
    • Evidence of generalist marketing experience - MarComms, marketing programs, PR & brand development
    • Ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns
    • Proven track in planning and running events
    • Experience in managing vendor relationships (PR agencies, design agencies, etc.)
    • Previous Database technology knowledge would be an advantage 
    • Experience with Digital Marketing and Social Media would be a benefit 
    • Prior experience with CRM and marketing automation tools
    • Italian and English language required

    Education and Training

    • Degree qualified.
