The Documentation Model Lead is a member of the TrakCare Knowledge Transfer Team reporting to the InterSystems Toolkit Architect.   The Documentation Model Lead is expected to contribute to the delivery of the TrakCare Conceptual and Documentation Model, an organisational strategic priority.

 

The incumbent will build, publish and maintain content and collateral for the TrakCare Documentation Object Model ('the model').  The key functions of this role include work and collaboration with internal staff in accordance with TrakCare Conceptual and Documentation Object Model Strategy and processes. This role also includes the management of feedback, review and enhancements to the documentation model.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of documentation objects and assembled documentation content for the TrakCare Global Product.
  • Maintenance and enhancement of standards for the documentation model, input and collaboration on standards shared with other business unitsApply documentation model standards to global content provided by other authors such as subject matter experts.
  • Input into the development project and ongoing enhancements for the documentation model (driven by the TrakCare Product Manager and Director of Knowledge Transfer), including:
    • Input into requirements
    • Creation of specifications if requested
    • Testing development
    • Recommendations and suggestions for enhancements

 Input into the release management processes for the documentation model content including:

    • Source object versioning, maintenance and release processes
    • Release of documentation content with the TrakCare product
    • Release of content to a customer portal

 Provide training and assistance on the model for regional teams, including:

    • Creation, maintenance and delivery of training (including translation of content)
    • Support for regional teams using the model
    • Assist regions transitioning to the model

 Provide recommendations and suggestions regarding supporting tools and processes

  • Provide recommendations and suggestions regarding translations
  • Audit global and regional collateral for adherence to standards and uptake of model

Essential skills & attributes

  • Possess a strong grasp of information/informatics and knowledge management structures and uses this knowledge to logically construct and place Conceptual and Documentation Object content.
  • Effectively communicate with a diversity of personalities. Is approachable and demonstrates effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to autonomously manage time to meet deadlines, ability to communicate effectively with appropriate stakeholders when deadlines are at risk.
  • Strong analytical abilities with respect to analyzing and processing collateral received from disparate groups within the organisation.
  • Is highly satisfied by the completion of routine tasks.
  • This individual is enthusiastic about and works well with others in a coordinated manner and does so on a regular basis while also focusing on other priorities set by his/her manager.
  • Experience with internal organisation processes within an EMR vendor or health delivery setting for vendor engagement in sales, delivery and/or support.
  • Previous EMR implementation and/or product experience.
  • InterSystems health care product knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience working within the Healthcare industry is highly desirable.
