InterSystems' interns work in our Cambridge, MA office each summer on software development projects. Our interns are trusted to work independently, under the guidance of a mentor, to build and implement a software application. In addition to working on a project, interns are able to integrate themselves into our teams, problem solving alongside our full-time developers. InterSystems’ paid Summer Internship Program exposes students to a variety of technical and non-technical skills needed to excel in a professional career post-graduation.

As a Market Development Representative, your primary focus will be development of a qualified pipeline of prospects within the financial services vertical and accounts that you will nurture throughout the sales cycle. As the Product Manager for Developer Experience, you'll help build InterSystems into the first choice for developers building massively scalable, interoperable, analytic applications. This is an exciting opportunity to act as the key connection between developers and the rest of the team, responsible for creating and executing the vision InterSystems’ developer experience. You'll work closely with multiple groups in the company to define the vision, identify opportunities, and drive impact for both developers and InterSystems. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of software developer needs, strong cross-functional and communication skills, and good instincts for balancing process vs value.
A particular focus of this role is delighting developers who are deep in Python and/or SQL, that want to leverage data science and machine learning as part of their data-intensive applications.
The Project Manager role will be accountable for the overall success of the implementation. They will be responsible for overall project strategy, defining roles and responsibilities across the multiple organizations and people involved. They will coordinate all steps and tasks in the project, ensuring on-time completion of all aspects, and eventual go-live and customer value achievement. They will be responsible for the quality of implementation. They will also be responsible for ensuring the project is completed cost effectively.
As a Quality Development Engineer, you will contribute to developing high quality, robust data platform InterSystems IRIS by working hard to uncover weaknesses and areas for improvement. If you are passionate about breaking things and growing cloud technology, you will excel in this role by purposefully building tools that will be destructive to our products. Then, you will provide analysis to figure out the error and the best method to rectify and improve, while working closely with our Development teams. Release Engineering is a focused engineering team dedicated to building out the process, tooling, and infrastructure that enables Development to create and Quality Development to test with efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The Release Engineer will contribute to the successful development and timely deployment of robust products and customer solutions, by providing technical knowledge of build processes and procedures that package together all elements of the product. You will be involved in everything from configuration to deployment and monitoring of the pipeline. The released product will be packaged in such a way as to ensure consistent and reliable installation and upgrade, and to provide reliable and predictable mechanisms for moving system elements between systems.

We are seeking software developers with expertise in middleware and data-management services for web-based applications. Technology Architects also define procedures and practices for application deployment and system management. They conduct and support benchmarking and other testing to ensure our products meet scalability and high availability goals, and work with development to identify and resolve product issues. They ensure that we learn from customer deployments to continuously improve future configuration designs.
