The Technical Specialist will be required to perform custom development tasks (including integration to systems and devices) and provide support for the technical implementation tools of InterSystems healthcare applications and related products in a successful, standard and timely manner.  The Technical Specialist will be responsible for site specific technical setup activities such as; integrations, data migration, reporting and data extraction, analytics cubes, database updates, environment configuration, management of upgrades and releases to ensure that the solution satisfies project specifications and is delivered and deployed in line with project requirements.  The Technical Specialist must be available to visit customer sites (e.g. hospitals/laboratories) and implementation partners for technical support and/or to provide technical training with the possibility of spending up to 5 days away from home each week.

The Release Engineer will contribute to the successful development and timely deployment of robust products and customer solutions by providing technical knowledge to build processes and procedures to package together all elements of the product. Elements of the product will include compiled application software, configuration data, sample code and data, and documentation. Processes and procedures will be scripted and may be automated to bring elements together from disparate sources such as source control systems, file servers and other repositories. The released product will be packaged in such a way as to ensure consistent and reliable installation and upgrade, and to provide reliable and predictable mechanisms for moving system elements between systems.

The solutions require sophisticated data management, workflow and transaction processing, data quality analysis, both patient-centric and provider-centric user interfaces, and data repository and analytics frameworks.    The Opportunity:   We are seeking software developers with expertise in middleware and data-management services for web-based applications. Knowledge of healthcare data protocols and interchange formats (e.g. HL7, IHE) is preferred. Equivalent expertise in financial data exchange would also be applicable. Strong software design and development skills are required, with a focus on delivering high-quality, enterprise-level solutions.

InterSystems seeks a Systems Management Specialist with a background in large Windows and/or Unix environments and experience of OS Scripting. Providing support for our TrakCare (healthcare information system) deployments, the Systems Management Specialist is responsible for the overall delivery of the System Architecture Plan and the implementation, configuration and management of resources.    The Systems Management Specialist will generally perform the following functions:   - Manage the internal systems and environments where the InterSystems products are installed. Monitor and maintain these environments in a proactive manner in order to avoid interruption of the services provided by the platform.  - Support defined system areas and provide technical support for the deployment of InterSystems products. - Responsible for the overall installation and maintenance of the Systems Architecture for InterSystems products and ongoing management of associated resources and activities to ensure that software is delivered line with internal requirements. - Communicate with the appropriate internal groups to obtain support as well ensuring standards are maintained for the configuration and support of InterSystems products.
